Educational table at Springing The Blooms

Join Beaches Museum for a day of springtime fun presented by Springing the Blues at the annual Springing the Blooms celebration on Saturday, April 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.!

Stroll through the beautiful History Park and gardens as they come to life with hands-on activities and engaging educational talks. Kids can enjoy live music on the historic Foreman’s House front porch, get their faces painted, and dive into creative arts and crafts like ragdoll making. Don’t miss the chance to meet some furry and feathered friends or take home a free tomato plant courtesy of our sponsors at Rockaway to start their own garden.

The Beaches Train Club will also be running the Florida East Coast Railway model train, a favorite for all ages.

Kevin Brown of the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol will speak on sea turtle conservation and rescue at 10:30 and Jody Willis of the Florida Native Plant Society will speak on native plants at 11:45. Catch their educational presentations in the Chapel!

Plus, artist Scotie Cousin will lead a special interactive workshop where kids can collaborate on a unique group art piece—an experience they won’t want to miss!

It’s a joyful celebration of spring, creativity, and community—perfect for the whole family. Admission is free, but registration is required! Register at https://wl.donorperfect.net/weblink/WebLink.aspx?name=E352392
