BECOME A MEMBER

Through your generous donation, you become a member of the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol community. All members receive our annual newsletter and a window decal to proudly display. Members who symbolically adopt a nest(s) are given the option to have a name (business, gift recipient, or your own) affixed to a nest in our area. 100% of your contributions go to protecting and preserving sea turtles who call our beaches home.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

  • Hatchling: $25 (no nest adoption)
  • Loggerhead ( up to 1 symbolically adopted nest): $75
  • Green (up to 2 symbolically adopted nests): $100
  • Leatherback (up to 3 symbolically adopted nests): $150
  • Kemp’s Ridley (up to 5 symbolically adopted nests): $200

2025 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – We have no open positions for this year. Thank you for your interest.

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT FOR TURTLE PATROL IF YOU ARE:

  • 18 or older.
  • Reliable with a cellphone and email.
  • An existing or new BSTP Member.
  • Available to participate in mandatory training sessions
  • Able to walk up to 3.5 miles in the sand in all weather.
  • Available once a week, rain or shine, at first light (20-30 minutes prior to dawn) for the entire nesting season (May 1 – October 31).
  • Flexibility in patrol assignment is a plus!
