Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol offers a number of ways for you to give. All donations are tax-deductible and may be eligible for a matching amount from your employer. Please check with your benefits representative.

SYMBOLIC NEST ADOPTION

PLEASE NOTE: All nest adoptions received after August 10 may be rolled over to the next sea turtle nesting season.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Sea turtle nesting is a natural process influenced by many environmental factors beyond human control. While we deeply appreciate your support through nest adoption, we cannot guarantee the viability or survival of any individual nest. Outcomes may be affected by weather events, predation, erosion, and other natural occurrences. Your adoption supports conservation efforts, regardless of nest success and we are truly grateful.

Membership levels above “Hatchling” include one or more optional nest adoptions in BSTP’s monitoring area of Atlantic, Neptune, and Jacksonville Beach.

Each nest adoption includes:

• Small sign posted on the nest with your dedication
• Acknowledgement letter
• BSTP window decal
• Link to nest productivity report

Guidelines for adoptions:

• Must be requested on donation form, up to limit for your membership level
• Text only, up to 70 characters
• May be edited for length or content
• Only official signs are allowed on the nest, all others will be removed
